Hossca Harrison-Founder

For the past 37 years Hossca has had the privilege of working with many troubled teens from every walk of life. One thing these teens all have in common is forgetting to love themselves. Many have developed low self-esteem that often leads to self-abuse.

Hossca works with each teen individually assisting them to understand the cause of their patterns of self-abuse, and assisting them to remove blocks from their mind, body and spirit. His reward is seeing the teens he has worked with over the years--many now in their twenties and thirties return to share with Hossca their gratitude for the assistance he gave them.

Hossca is also the Founder of Life Energy Flow Tai Yi School of Healing. Hossca has been taught in excess of 4,000 exercises by a Chinese Tai Yi Master This teaching has taught him to see through blocks and veils that people put up to hide their pain and suffering. Hossca brings a unique and dynamic healing experience to his students. Life Energy Flow Tai Yi School of Healing is the only school on earth teaching and certifying Tai Yi Practitioners.

Hossca has been married for 43 years, has two children, five grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Rebecca Harrison-Co-Founder

Rebecca Harrison has assisted teens through the Universal Education Foundation Rebecca and Hossca founded in 1986.

Rebecca has volunteered her time working with teens and maintaining the administration of the Foundation for the last 37 years. She would be called as the backbone of the foundation.

Tami Urbanek-President and group facilitator

Tami has over 12 years experience in education. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Special Education, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration / Nonprofit Management-all completed at The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She has also taught at UCCS and Pikes Peak State College.

Tami creates and co-facilitates all the groups.

Certified in A.S.I.S.T, SafeTALK and Youth Mental Health First Aid and trained in preventing human trafficking

Tina Herring, Ph.D.-Secretary and Treasurer

Tina has over 20 years of experience in Education and working with individuals with disabilities at the K-12 and post-secondary level. Tina has her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, a Masters in Deaf Education from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and her doctorate in Special Education from The Ohio State University.

Tina was a teacher for the Deaf, a professor of Deaf Education and is currently professor of Special Education at a university in Denver, Colorado. Tina is one of the co-facilitators of the Bullying Recovery Project.

Jason Harrison-Director of Facility Maintenance

Jason Harrison has been in the mechanical and plumbing field for over 25 years.

He has been a part of the community for over 30 years and has worked with multiple non-profit organizations that work with families.

Jason has one adult son and three younger children growing up in this community that they we love.

Bethany Snow - Board Member; Director of Communications

Bethany Snow is a University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) graduate with a degree in Professional Communication and has completed a certificate in Cyber Security.

Andrea MacDonald-Vice President, Director of Development

Andrea MacDonald is the former President and CEO of MacDonald Media, the leading independent ad agency specializing in Out of Home Media. For over 20 years and with five offices across the country, MacDonald Media created ground-breaking out of home media campaigns for hundreds of well-loved brands, including AMC, Nordstrom Rack, Washington State Lottery, Whole Foods, Jay Z’s Rocnation, and Nike.

Andrea has focused her entire advertising career on finding innovative ways to connect brands to consumers in public spaces, beginning with the Outdoor Advertising Association of America and later creating the first out of home media planning team at Ogilvy & Mather, which included pioneering the agency’s earliest forays into sports sponsorships, in-store media and online advertising.

Joseph Armeanio-Board member

Joseph is a Life Energy Flow Tai Yi practitioner and founded Point of Healing. He is also the author of L.I.F.E.-Life Is Flowing Energy, published in 2019.
